Forcing the truth out of him, Angel learns that all that's transpired, Connor's birth, Cordelia's ascension to the higher plane, Angel turning into Angelus and Cordelia's pregnancy, were all a part of a higher being's plan to create something even more powerful than itself.

2026-01-21 04:31:06 +0000 UTCI refuse to believe Skip’s story about every single Team Angel event being orchestrated to bring this being to life. I think it took advantage of some things that already occurred, and maneuvered a couple others (definitely Cordy’s ascension & maybe her becoming part demon), but I think to say this one being was responsible for almost every move they made really cheapens the story and the characters’ journeys. So I just consider Skip an untrustworthy villain & pretend he didn’t say all that lol. Anyway, I loved Darla’s appearance. A lot of fans hate Connor, and they did write him to be a bit of an annoying brat, but with every rewatch I feel so bad for him. He’s never known anything but manipulation, from Holtz to evil Cordy.

Absolutely insane start to the climax of the most wild arc Angel has had yet 😁😁 and of course Gina Torres shows up being as divine as ever, somewhat ironically literal in this case 😅 she lifts up every project she has any involvement in
