2025-06-24 10:12:08 +0000 UTCDarla is top tier Buffyverse & she is so much deeper than we ever got to really see in Buffy season 1 (& season 2 flashbacks) which makes it even greater that she gets more screen time on Angel even if it is tragic- it’s high drama!! and Julie Benz plays Darla so well- she can be play so vulnerable yet also so evil. This new incarnation of Darla is hella more interesting than the vamp girl we saw breaking into Sunnyvale High in Welcome to the Hellmouth then showed up a few episodes later to get dusted. Evil Vamp Darla from BtVS S1 & S2 flashbacks never did her justice. Also …Drusilla!!! She is literally everything & I can’t get enough of her mind. Also the actress Juliet Landau is amazing at embodying her. Both Julie & Juliet devour their characters of Darla & Dru and steal the scenes so having them together is high-caliber acting, beautiful and so fun to watch! Along with your reactions!
