Oh my god I fucking love this movie so much. I watched it so much when I was about 12 that some of the very specific sounds and lines from it are ingrained deep into my brain- hearing them tickles that lizard brain ASMR part. It was in very heavy rotation at my house along with Prom Night 2 which is why I will always have a serious fondness for those sort of fantasy/sci-fi tinged alternate dimension type horror films. Seeing it is so satisfying. Angus Scrimm was so perfect as the Tall Man. This movie was a major gateway drug for me as a horror fan, a kid who went from being so scared of movies and masks to being a nerd who couldn't believe people got to make movies like this for their job.
