I really enjoyed this film and have never heard of it. Thanks Chance! I have always liked Carla she is an exceptional actress and can u believe she is in her late 40s here? stunning foxy lady! our family friend and former roommate had a friend who was in the movie SON IN LAW starring carla and pauly shore...she was playing a college kid but she was actually like 27 at the time. I loved this movie because of how the story is told. I use to want to be a psychiatrist but i'm too much of an empath and emotionally it's far too draining. Another VERY underrated film that's similar is called CLOSET LAND... it's a mind fuck and masterfully acted by Madeleine Stowe and the die hard villain Alan Rickman.. i actually found it on youtube for free..it's a 1991 film, very low budget but the acting is awesome and it's so engaging and disturbing. It's not your average movie i liked how odd it was. I highly recommend it if u have not seen it

I always forget about the dad part of the film, think my mind took the theme of the movie and said yeah let's bury this!🤣

2025-07-23 03:26:45 +0000 UTCThis book wasn't adapted for so long because so much of it takes place in Jessie's head that people just didn't think it could be engaging as a movie. Then Mike Flanagan came in like "Hold my beer, I'm Mike Flanagan." Carla Gugino is always incredible but she deserved some kind of award for this, she carried this movie on her wrists :P
