Willow totally deflected on Tara mid-conversation when the topic was about Willow's magic, and flipped it onto Tara by switching the topic. Funny how she mentioned taking Psych 101, right before a pulled a reverse psychology move on Tara, who was honestly left dumbfounded by the end of the conversation, whether intentional or not lol. Willow often gets defensive when someone brings up her magic or the dangers of it. She got defensive when Oz expressed real concern about Willow geyting into dangerous magicks back in "Fear Itself", and she called him Judas, and then had that fight with Willow about her magic at the haunted house party. She even got mad at Buffy, telling her she's not she Buffy's sidekick. I think Willow has gotten so use to leading in her relationships with a passive partner that she feels uncomfortable when she's not "the lead" in her relationship, in a sense. Both Oz & Tara are what most would consider VERY passive people, which makes sense for someone who didn't feel noticed really by anyone, except Xander(then Oz, and then Tara), that she would want to feel special by standing out in it, which hasn't seem to be a problem with the passive people she's dated. But the moment there seemed to be some pushback, especially about magick. Willow's always been sensitive about magic and being questioned about her use of it, even back in season 3 with Giles, constantly wanting to push the boundaries with it, and well, very reckless with it, which means Willow sneaking into The Magic Shop to steal "ThevDarkwst Magic" to get vengeance for her girlfriend against a Hell God and, not even a half-cocked, but SLIGHTLY cocked plan, is certainly not a surprise because ot could she would π...

Kali is a Hindu goddess with at least two forms that represent destruction and the personification of rage; Hera is a Greek goddess who protects marriages and is known for occasionally insane levels of vindictiveness towards those who would cross her or threaten the so called 'marriage bed'; Kronus is a Greek Titan who castrated his own father with a Scythe, and is sometimes associated with the image/idea of death itself; Cthonic (it gets misspelled in subtitles as 'tonic') refers to the Underworld in general, and Cassiel is an Angel who is sometimes seen as the Angel of Death, and also known as the 'Angel of tears'. Yeah that's some major firepower Willow's calling on.
