SMG is really underrated as an actress. The way she manages to play convincingly both the Buffybot and resurrected traumatized Buffy in a single episode is amazing.

2025-08-12 04:55:21 +0000 UTCIf you watched the opening song which spoiled nothing all the scenes are from season 4 & 5, you would see that Anthony Steward Head is no longer a cast member,his contact ended with season 5 and he wanted to go back to England to be with his wife and daughters ,he would commute to England and LA for several months at a time and he wouldnβt be able get do other projects like theater, this is the reason Amber Benson was not a cast member she said in a convention panel that she wouldnβt be able to come and go

That explains how she came back in her coffin instead of appearing next to her grave like an apparition. For like 20 years I assumed that was just a lazy detail in the writers room!
