以前からいつか長期の旅に出ると書いていましたが、行ってきます。

南半球で数か月間、テントや寝袋、食料を背負って3000kmほど町をつないで自然の中を歩いてきます。

これまで忙しく働いている人たちになるべく短い時間で、ワクワクできる豊かな妄想のきっかけになるようなものを提供できればと思ってきてやってきました。一緒に旅してる妄想とか、いつもとは違う一面を見れる妄想とか。どこまでできたか分かりませんが、「日々忙しい中、癒しになっている」みたいなメッセージを何人からかいただけたのは嬉しかったです。

10月からはここ数か月で作り貯めたイラストを低頻度で投稿していきます。

pixiv投稿が不定期になったり、継続特典まわりがまだ考えられていなかったり、コメントやメッセージ等へのリアクションが遅くなったり、何かとご不便はおかけしてしまいます。向こうについて落ち着いたら順次更新していきます。

またイラストはあくまで手段なので、旅の間は他の方法でも何か皆さんを少しでもワクワクさせられたらいいなと思っています。以前から旅の話ももっと聞きたいとのお声もいただいていたので、定期的にご報告いたします。

正直まだどうなるか自分でも分かっていません。このブログを書いているのは出国前日ですが、まだ初日の宿泊先も調べられてないような状況ですし、ずっと歩いていて体力精神力がどうなるのか分かりません。

私は旅をするために生きているので、今後の投稿のためにも必要な期間だと思って見守っていただけたら嬉しいです。

自分の中で服装にフォーカスするイラストと場所・背景にフォーカスするイラストの2つになんとなく分けていたのですが、ここ数か月ずっと服装メインだった気がします。旅から離れすぎて旅への欲求が薄まっていたことや、旅の準備構想で旅欲が満たされていたんだと思います。ここ半年ほどずっとバタバタしていたので、帰国後はもっといいものを作れる気満々でいます！

今後のご支援に関しては皆さまご無理のない範囲でお願いします。

While illustrations will still be the main focus, I’d love to find other ways to share some excitement with you during the trip. Some of you have expressed interest in hearing more about my travels, so I plan to give regular updates.

Honestly, I have no idea how things will turn out. I’m writing this the day before my departure, and I haven’t even figured out my accommodation for the first night yet! I’m not sure how my physical or mental stamina will hold up as I walk for such a long time.

Travel is what I live for, so I hope you can see this journey as a necessary period that will inspire future posts and follow along with me.

For a while, I’ve felt like my illustrations were split between two focuses—those that highlight outfits and those that highlight locations and backgrounds. Lately, it seems like I’ve been mainly focusing on outfits. I believe that being away from travel for so long dulled my desire for adventure, and the preparation for this trip has somewhat satisfied that urge. It’s been a hectic six months, but after I return, I feel confident that I’ll be able to create even better work!
