Pickle Jar
Added 2022-03-16 01:43:41 +0000 UTCHey all! Still got various new comics brewing but in the meantime I figured I'd upload some of my older stuff to the ol' 'Treon. This is Pickle Jar, a oneshot minicomic drawn for the Small Press Expo back in 2019. Y'know, the Before Times.
This comic went kind of mini-viral during the con! I posted some panels from it online and the SPX Twitter retweeted them and it caused a ton of people to show up at my table and buy all the copies, lol. It was very surreal! Man, I miss conventions.
Another thing about this comic is I actually consider it to be set in the same world as Station Square. Actually, all my more fantastical comics (Station Square, Monster Country, etc) are set in the same world. One day I need to sit down and draw an ultra geeky map showing how that all works. lmao.
I ended up quite liking the Stevensons by the end of drawing this and have been wanting to use them again in other stuff. Hopefully soon!
