1.0: Added in most of the female cosmetics. Fixed a lot of clipping issues for both models. Fixed an issue where Captain Marvel would would display with the tiger body model when wearing a swimsuit. Fixed an issue where the head would sometimes disappear during cutscenes.
0.4: Updated most of the cosmetics for the male Hunter to work properly with the new model. Fixed an issue where the Scarlet Witch would display with the tiger body model.
0.3: Added support for the female Hunter
This mod for Marvel's Midnight Suns turns the playable Hunter character into an anthro tiger. The model is fully rigged, so all of the dialog and expressions should animate correctly. In addition to the new face, it includes custom hand, feet and tail models and a new body texture.
Believe it or not, the Hunter as a tiger works fairly well with the game's lore. The Hunter is a legendary magical being descended from Elder Gods, with a non-human mother and a few non-human vanilla cosmetics- so immersion-breaking moments in the dialog should be pretty rare.
The most recent version of the mod changes both the male and female Hunter. I'm still working on updating the unlockable suits with tiger fur instead of skin- I haven't actually unlocked most of those in-game, so I'm not sure which of those will work well with the mod yet.
Eventually, I may also digitigrade paws and some other species options, depending on whether I'm still playing the game in a few weeks or ready to move on to something else.
To install the mod:
1. Locate your Midnight Suns installation folder. In the Steam version, this can be done by right clicking on the game in your library and selecting Manage->Browse Local Files
2. Move the file called pakchunk98-feline_P.pak to the \Marvel's Midnight Suns\MidnightSuns\Content\Paks\ folder
This should work with existing save files, though you may need to remove any beard or face cosmetics in the dresser screen to prevent clipping.
