Anker SoundCore Rave Neo - frequency response measurements
Added 2020-07-23 10:02:42 +0000 UTCAll measurements were done outdoors with the speaker elevated at around 1m. Measuring microphone was at a distance of 50cm aimed at the center between tweeter and woofer.
First is measured at half volume showing all 3 preset EQs together with my custom EQ
Second shows different volume levels with my custom EQ
Third shows the effect of different EQs at maximum volume
Fourth shows the change in response between elevated placement and placement on the ground (measured with my custom EQ setting).
The biggest issue seems to be the 3khz peak, which cannot be dealt with as there is no 3khz band. I think it still sounds really nice with the custom EQ setting.
I also posted both my EQ settings for lower levels (works well up to 60-70%) and for maximum volume. The difference in loudness is not huge, but the max. volume setting adds some upper bass and reduces effects of the limiter.
PS. I don't claim that these are the best EQ settings, but to my taste it sounds really nice like that and definitely better than with the built in presets.

I think so but rather trust your ear, if you think it sounds bad try changing some setting.
