Holidays yay!
Added 2022-07-02 20:20:48 +0000 UTCWe just arrived in Italy right now. I have prepared some stuff to post by and by but I won’t be able to create any new real content until our return in 2 weeks. I will still try to answer all messages from you, please apologise if I don’t react immediately and in case I forget to answer to one of your messages please remind me again after some days as I get so many inquiries daily that I can sometimes miss single messages.
There will be a bigger giveaway this month because I didn’t manage to prepare any for the last 2 months, therefore I want to give away 3 UBOOM L to 3 of you. These were my working units which you already know from my videos and they all sound very similar because I tried to match them all to my target response, thus all are running a different firmware haha. Because of this they may even sound better than the final production units. I have 2 other production units now which I am going to keep for myself which were used as reference for the final firmware. All currently sold units are still with my “old” firmware and will probably sound crappy like this but the new firmware will be available on the Earfun site or just ask me and I can send it to you if you finally get your speaker. Unfortunately I cannot guarantee that all units will sound decent even with this latest firmware as I cannot predict how inconsistent the sample variation will really be in the end. I just tried to make the final 2 units which I got as last to sound as good as possible, even better than my early units I think, because the final firmware should have more bass at high levels and a more refined sounding outdoor mode. It’s up to the factory how consistent they manage to produce these units. Sorry, but I really tried my best to offer a sound as good as possible, wasted lots of time without earning a single penny yet have to live with a uncertainty how the sold speakers will sound in the end.
Therefore I am just thankful for all your continuous support, because without you I wouldn’t even be able to go on holidays with my family!
