2019-08-31 15:37:07 +0000 UTCReminds me of the stories of the Greek Spartan soldiers. They were raised with male companions eventually lovers as a rule. They fought together and for each other. A true fighting machine. But eventually it became time to procreate. But the soldiers had no interest in women at that point. So the soldiers had to dress a young woman as a guy to get them interested eventually to fuck and have children to carry the line of soldiers. This is what was expected as a Spartan Soldier. You can see why they were able to conquer all of Europe. Roman soldiers took some of this. For some reason they eventually developed small prejudices against gay soldiers. But their tolerance for them was so much more than we are now. They saw lovers fighting together for each other was a power to be reckoned with.
