I don't know much about too much about the case, because I wasn't a direct friend of her, but back in 2012 Alas approached me with a request for his friend, which by that time was already very sick. I made it because of it. I like to think it made her happy to see her character drawn like this, but since I never got a direct message from her I'll never know. But I know she saw it, at least from what I told by Alas when I asked permission to share it :) The character was adopted by him, so you can still find her in his gallery
