Info about Redesigned Main Menu mod
Added 2025-01-15 19:53:41 +0000 UTCI think those who have already updated the game to version 1.112 already know that the Redesigned Main Menu mod (1.1) was broken.
EA has completely redesigned the interface of the main menu, changing every element of it, and it's pretty cool!
If you are still on versions 1.110-1.111, you can safely use the public version 1.1 of the mod.

Since the UI and code have undergone significant changes, the mod has been rewritten from scratch. Therefore, this version may be somewhat unstable and need some time for testing.
I will be grateful to everyone who will join in this.
And at the end, I'd like to add that I'm quite interested in the new EA code...
There are a few new configurations that haven't been used yet.
It looks like we will be able to switch between main menu themes in the future and will get a third button after "HOME" and "STORE". What could it be?

Yeah, I've also seen some screenshots with the EVENTS button, but the PC version doesn't have it for some reason... There's some LauncherLiveEventsPage script in GFX files, but it doesn't seem to get called. Version 2.0 has just been released to the public, but the ability to hide the news feed is only a test implementation in 2.1 (alpha)

2025-01-25 00:05:56 +0000 UTCI'm wondering if the third button is for "EVENTS"? When I did a Google search about the new main menu, some screenshots had that there, but apparently only on console? Anyway, I'm unfortuntately broke af due to being disabled and unable to work, so I can't upgrade to test the new version, but I'm looking forward to it when it releases publicly (no rush)! Also... any chance of optionally hiding the eye-burning ads/news feed? lol
