The Topiary Menagerie

The top of a massive dragon’s head crowned with ginger buds rises above it all. Below, a menagerie of beasts and flowering monsters perch on hedges, and over long fountains. Some are at rest, but others look a moment away from pouncing on those who dare cross the sweet smelling threshold.
This map is 26 x 42 and comes with 12 different variations.

This will be the last set offering a line art drawing for the foreseeable future. I wanted to experiment with this, but it’s turned out to not work very well with my natural process.
Instead, I’m planning to start releasing asset packs! These will be sets of assets in their own separate posts, and will probably go out every few months or so. The plan is that as I slowly accumulate new assets through the natural course of map making, after a while I’ll have enough to release in a pack, as a special post.
The first asset post will be released next month, as a garden set with a lot of the assets used in this topiary map.
