Tropical Tower: Levels 1 & 2

A tall tower of yellow brick sits in the center of a a city square. The dome rises high above other roofs, and the double doors are engraved with spiked ferns that look like teeth.

Inside the air is hot and wet. Water drips from leaves and lamp fixtures, and down golden pillars like sweat. Everything smells heavy with damp earth, and the sharp sweet tang of the rainforest, but beneath the flowery perfume there is also a lingering odor of decay.

A marble promenade circles the tower with displays of massive carnivorous plants. Vines hang between the walls and their long shadows obscure a great tree at the center of the tower with four stone staircases leading up around it.

There’s a flicker of movement in the corner of your eye, the shadow of leaf perhaps? Or something more?

Hello everyone!

I’m so excited I finally get to share this set with all of you. I’ve been working on this tower for awhile, as a bit of a personal project, because I just love all the colors and foliage and I’ve been wishing I had more maps that could fit into tropical settings. Also, imagining fabulously dressed people wandering around a gallery of deadly plants is how I spend my daydreaming time.

This is the first release in a two part set. The rest of the tower levels will be published later this month.

I hope you all enjoy these maps as much as I loved making them and that all your players getting eaten by the flytraps… er... I mean, defeat the fly traps! Heh heh.

All the maps are set on a 40 x 60 grid, and you can download them with or without the grids. The VTT files are Jpgs, at 140 dpi (5600x8400 pixels).
