EncodeGUI v1.2.0 - Early Access Release
Added 2023-05-15 00:59:29 +0000 UTC- Added the Subtitle queue for custom subtitle configurations.
- Added the option to import audio and subtitles from external videos or standalone audio sources.
- Added the task bar icon encoding progress bar.
- Added the option to receive a desktop notification for when an encoding task is complete.

- EncodeGUI MacOS with 100% native Apple Silicon support is now here (will be released a few days after the Windows release).
- Dark theme UI that is adaptive to system configuration (MacOS only).
- Features a custom compile of FFmpeg with VapourSynth cross compiled to allow an even faster rendering time for filters (MacOS only).
KNOWN ISSUE:
- In some instances, EncodeGUI will crash if you remove items from either the Audio or Subtitle queues, and then add a job to the main queue. I'm working to get this fixed but was unable to do so before the release. In the meantime, avoid removing items from both the subtitle and audio queues.
NOTES ON BATCH INPUTS:
- Custom audio and subtitle encoding is not supported with batch inputs. Any subtitles or audio are pass-trough if both are enabled in the Main page.
- Video muxing is not supported.
- No audio or subtitle metadata is collected on batch inputs. As a result, no checks are performed confirming compatibility for the audio/subtitle codecs and the selected output video container. To ensure no errors, it is highly recommended to use the .mkv container for all batch jobs as .mkv has the widest codec support.
- Dolby Vision and HDR10+ metadata is not supported with batch inputs.
- Chapters are automatically pass-through if present.
