his relationship with ballet was atfirst used to control him, to make himself look perfect and obedient, winning championships and appearing stainless (essentially straightening his hair, and lightening his skin to match the rest of his family, when he knew very well he actually didn’t look like that.) this resulted in a very aggressive response internally and externally, denouncing his talent and becoming violent. (Something very much un-like the perception of eloquence in Ballet)) as an adult and his mother gone, he’s pacified and now wiling to return to ballet, this time doing it as an interest solely for himself, no competition, no “perfect“ him, no expectations.
the only audience is him and him only.
