Onori doodles wip + long story time

I’m thinking hard in his family life…

who’s his dads, and all that.
here’s my general idea,

human dad took custody of onori while cephy dad went off to make money for the both of them. They divorced but cephy dad wants everything going well for his kid so he said that “as long as you take care of him well, I’ll support you with all I have” and that every piece of money is meant to enrich Onori’s life.
this was agreed upon but did not last well.

human dad eventually forgot how to take care of onori as a cephy/human being, and began to become more and more careless. Especially because onori has special needs because of his genetic matchup. Onori’s cephy dad is also human/cephy, but much more stable, and realized onori wasn’t so lucky.  
in middle school, onori dealt with the brunt of bullying, which he has never experienced before They moved to this area. His sensitives grew and his anxiety, fear, and stress skyrocketed. He cried often, and left ink all over, staining his clothes and the floor. He felt like everything was his fault and he was a monster. His human dad got madder and madder that Onori cant control his bladder or his stomache (he vomits) and yells at him to act normal for once.
onori now can’t even bring himself to go to school, especially after his one and only friend/crush left, leaving him completely alone and devoid of any happiness. His aggression peaks As his anxiety does, and lashes out as his only defense. (”onori’s downfall began the moment he entered middle school at 10 years old, and at his speak when he was 12”) 

his cephy father, wondering how things have been, and missing his son very dearly, tries to pay a visit. He finds that they’ve moved? And to a place he thinks isn’t suitable for onori (human majority town) he finally talls with human dad and they start arguing, as cephy dad is asking why they’ve moved, what is he using the money for, and where is onori.
cephy dad finds Onori, scared out of his mind, has inked all over the floor. His human dad immediately berated him “not this again!” And cephy dad is in absolute shock, seeing how the human says “this is what I have to deal with, how can you give me such A hard kid! He does this on purpose I swear!”
Onori is close to spit out TOXIC ink this time (mouth), before cephy dad picks him up and tries to console him.
he yells at the human to clean the mess, since it luckily wasnt the toxic type.
Onori tries to fight cephy dad out of a desperation to flee, but cephy dad waits for him to calm down and Give him a shower.
cephy dad decides that their agreement is now over and he takes over complete priority over Onori.
howver the damage is done and onori develops a violent defensive personality, unable to handle the stress that burned him badly. Human dad tries to reconcile but to no avail as the only reason why he was getting any support was for and only for, Onori.
now Onori is on track to go to high school, to a new place, only marginally safer than before. his cephy father cannot leave work for too long, and painfuly has to leave onori alone more often than he wants, which doesn’t help Onori’s mental state. (he feels  lonely and humiliated, stressed and scared). His cephy father was able to help Onori re establish bodily control, and finally give him a proper special diet for his sensitive stomach.
he couldn’t fix Onori’s distrustful feelings, and couldn’t comfort him about his self image (how he feels about himself as part cephy and part human, which human dad and middle school has villainized)  

nor the fact that Onori’s become a delinquent. However… as cephy dad finally decided “fuck it” and cut his job/began wroking remotely once given the chance.. he’s able to bond with Onori more and see that he has friends now, and his “delinquent” self has given him the opportunity to develop bonds that Onori wouldnt otherwise.
also the kids are nice, and Onori is quite tame when around them.
(cephy father does not know That “delinquent” is putting it lightly, there a gang… planning to take control of the district they live in…not so legally)

Onori and his dad become close, have father son time, and he feels genuinely happy to have cephy dad around.
end… (for onori’s teen to early adult years)…. I’ve been working on so much of his youner life that I’ve completely missed out on what the plot really is… about criminals and detectives, and the united goal to make cephy and humans peacefully live together. Onori just has alot of baggage… and here I am lovingly drawing a detailed map of his backstory, completely forgetting ”oh riiiiighht, he’s a gang leader….”
