i ended up finishing the piece! i realized dialogue-less was better thematically and storytelling wise. so that's what it will be for a few pages.
since it doesn't feel like they are escalating as fast as they did with the dialogue i had written, i felt that this was a better choice overall.

Which all can affect how they view or experience certain things even without reproductive parts. For this case, they can feel a sense of sensual arousal. It’s like a physical platonic form of sexual arousal. The feeling of being touched in a non sexual way can be very broad. It’s a fluffy feeeling that is enjoyable but you can distinguish it as not a sexual desire. For the numbered this feeling is more pronounced and separated from sexual desire, which is often the driving force to their physical acts of intimacy. Now for the real idea of sexual arousal…. That’s also complicated. For numbered have different views on aspects of intimacy they like to explore, some have took the mantle of learning details of sex so mimic. This artificial creation of body parts can creat a new sensation, that is sexual arousal. But remove the parts and it’s possible that the arousal feeling will now be a thing even vestigially without sex organs. So tldr: depend on the concept of arousal, they feel sensual arousal generally. For sex organs, if the create them they can really explore the idea of sexual intimacy and arousal which now makes them view or experience things in a complex sensual and sexual way at times. Human concepts for the older ones affect how they view sensuality into a more raunchier experience despite never really having the body parts that would contribute to such a resulting feeling.
