Added 2023-10-08 01:33:06 +0000 UTCpenile anatomical variation is the equivalent to a unique immune systems, where it indicated genetic variety and therefore more preferable. this especially can be another indication of regional differences between imps as genetic variations can be more isolated to certain areas, ergo regional indicators. this along with horns and certain eye colors and tail types can give a fuller picture. when imps made more efforts to unify, especially in the modern age, less and less of these differences can reliably indicate a region. however trends still occur. anyways, have this little sketch of little imp lads
due to the variety i want to make more of a chart for male imp variation, and ponder over female imp variation.

they have control over it indirectly, an imp must be especially disinterested or under stress and the spurs start emerging as an extreme defense mechanism. this made the species an incredibly selective one lol. when in heat is when things can follow along, the spurs can activate but are less likely to and if the imp had sex off cycle, the sperm is kept in the little sperm holder at the top of the uterus. usually pregnancy happens when an imp is either neutral or very receptive to the idea. so tldr, if unwanted, the sperm gets nuked but if there are survivors those little guys get sent to the sperm bag, only used when needed, but most often used the following heat cycle if all things are good with the imp.
