update:  more fathers! also had an idea that lucy was a demon hunter and lilith was a devil (difference in terms of power magnitude so like a devil is like conceptually ina whole other level) who lived among mortals to feed off of their lust and if possible love. in one night he fed so much that his shadow created a baby! in surprise he took care of the baby and very much loves him, even though the baby feeds off of his love like hes an unlimited supply. lucy comes to town/city hearing and being sent over on a mission to eliminate demons. demons in general can cause problems to the humans so his goal is to create peace. in his mission he is met with an undoubtably strong aura, so dangerous he is on edge! in search he is met with a baby, emanating that same aura he was searching for. the baby is harmless but very  much not human. coming in and out of existence and bridging dimensional spaces. the baby pops into his arms and lucy is unsure of what to do. then out of nowhere, somehow a person comes running to him in worry. how did this person even get so close to him without him noticing! but he was distracted immediately. this person was a beautiful man! he takes the baby and come to find out that this demon incarnate is the child of this beautiful but alas, "human" man! how sad. how can lucy deal with this new conundrum! this demon is likely the cause of trouble in the city, reports of dreary tired people, seemingly drained of life and energy. even vampire bites in some of them. how dangerous. how does lucy deal with this,  less even exorcise the demon who clearly replaced the original human child! how will he break the news to this man. in this au, lucy either does or doesnt have his own kid, but its more relevant the dynamics between the devil lilith and his son and lucy the demon hunter both smart and dumb, smart at identifying the demon son, unaware of the even worse and the actual culprit devil, lilith in front of him.  

i had a dream they all met at a daycare or a school and have their kids hate/like each other while the fathers were dating or end up dating together. they all kinda help with each others fears and flaws, learning a multifaceted methods of parenting.
