 some more continuation- i love the homunculi au and the incubus tamer soldier one is cool due to how the characters also meet. lucy and lilith in the battlefield and mammon from attempting to steal goods and being caught. lilith giving him grace and instead have him do a job instead. in another idea- mammon is a merchant class demon and asks for lilith to protect him while he is transporting goods from one place to another, something that he needs to personally deliver in exchange for something of equal value that he must appraise himself. but due to being weak and rich, he asks for lilith a fresh off the press soldier free from his battlefield days a job to do. from the success of this and defeating all the enemies that tried to steal the goods, or even just to assassinate mammon, mammon considers him reliable and will give him jobs from here on out, all while lilith is adjusting to civilian/mercenary trades as his achievements in the battlefield are being debated on in the imperial court. once that happens and lilith is given land and a title, he offers a contractual relationship with mammon, his new found soldiers used to personally help transport the goods, and him sometimes volunteering when its mammon needing to travel himself. lucy is tacked on later as he is busy with the church ( hes a saint after all) and his freedoms are restricted. but he manages to escape and search for lilith and eventually meet mammon. lucy in order for the church to retain him, gives up on complete control and offers him the ability to travel as long as he is spreading the word and comes back when he needs to perform his saintly duties.

some more continuation of his homunculi heirloom au - besides the headmaster au version, these both have the same goal to find and save the rest of the homunculi that was trapped like he was, even if they aren't sealed into submission, they can still be in abusive situations like him. he was used for many missions to fight dissent, eliminate threats and to serve as decoration sometimes. if he was told to strip he had no choice but to complete the order. especially if it was given as an order, which oftentimes it was. the seal on his freedom was an ancient submission seal, that took a large sacrifice to bind someone into complete servitude, especially one with power. the seal isnt something that can last for so many decades and eventually wears away as lilith grew stronger and older. eventually he freed himself by' seducing' ( manipulation) one of his abusers into releasing the seal (even partially so that he can break it himself completely) and pretend its for the purpose of running away together with her. he then murdered and tortured the whole lineage, especially the older ones. he reveled in their demise and even went as far as to eliminate the associated upper class and their family lines. essentially ensuring the kingdoms destruction. all due to his decades long resentment and abuse that torments him to this day, his whole life was taken away from him and he wasn't gonna let this grudge be simple. a rivaling kingdom rather than view him as a threat, they wanted to make use of him, so they proposed asylum and safety in their borders. in return he would protect their family line under free servitude, not forced. this was a binding contract. in the contract he was given freedom and full rights as well as any homunculi in the kingdoms borders were to also receive the same treatment. he was also given the power to find those homunculi and take them to safety. the contract was made and the binding was completed. he is free and is on the search for the others. lucy was an heriloom as well, living over 50 years as a butler, and librarian. he too suffered from abuse but due to his status and not being into submission, he had freedoms lilith did not have. however he too wanted to leave, and explore freedoms he didnt have. so he went with lilith. mammon was a homunculi by mistake due to the parts that make up him have an intense will to live and survive. he was born in the streets and was made for it. a rat with information and with grubby hands everywhere. he was taken by lilith not out of pure will, but due to him causing trouble within the kingdoms borders. so lilith with his vow to take care of all homunculi, took mammon under his care and made him stop committing so much theft. essentially putting a stop to his wicked ways. however mammon was still given his rights to use his information network just for the good of the empire, while still engaging in all the wealthy delights he used to seek. mammon is greedy and as long as he is fed, he is happy to oblige.

armor! and speculating different homunculi aus- besides him being an incubus/demon the homunculi speaks out to me, to further show lilith being otherworldly or of unnatural beauty and power. however i have many speculations as to how he is person wise and which way he is treated, whether to have a bad and spiteful lilith (a villain esque character) or a hopeful lilith (an optimist despite seeing horrors in his journey to find the other homunculi) and his growing up phase be rife with struggle and abuse or cozy and sweet. i want both so i have them as types of aus underneath the broader homunculi branch.
