mutant adi and daimen doodles

some fun bonds for them to play with. adi finds the bonds a little silly since he can break them so easily but understands its a game rather than real life. he knows what real restraints are, and these are like the toy version. breaking them or playing along is a bit relieving and fun, since its all pretend he can simply stop it whenever he wants.

rehashing some old info and mixing in with new thoughts-

i like to think their relationship is not as romantic as initially thought. more platonic friends with benefits situation. they like each other alot but not as deep lovers, but then again they would die for each other and are each others best support in their world. im thinking of designing all the ways adi shape shifts for his exjob of being a hero. he is largely indestructible and has the urge to destroy without reason, which means he often does big jobs that require that level of destruction, especially since he can handle being under rubble in the tons. all for heroes that cant handle it be saved for ' better' jobs. he does lots of the grunt work and fighting, some pretty some bad, and often is blamed for the mess even though he was explicitly told to do whatever is necessary to win. he used to have a complicated image as a hero, simply due to his destructive tendencies and as well as inhuman appearance (not his fault he was the by product of a demonic experiment by a mad scientist) or simply being a 'mutant'. however he was effective at his job so he stayed as a hero for decades despite the low rankings in the social world. he quit eventually realizing he was being taken advantage of and finally having the confidence and willingness to end the battle of wits between the administration that held him and his own personal wants. without him the administration had to cover for him, actually putting heroes at risk and being used for their purpose. he left a giant hole in the administration's operations, as he was so crucial for defeating and managing villains and destruction itself. anyways him and damien moved to the town/village that houses majority of mutants, many of whom were also victims of circumstance, experimentation, or accidents. adi currently is getting his license to do demolition and aid in construction, as its his favorite thing to do is both help and destroy things. it also doesn't require him to do lots of paperwork which he has a hard time understanding, considering the brain damage he suffered from the experimentation. regardless damien follows adi and helps pursue his dreams since adi means the world to him, as well as keeping the promise they had when they were kids, to always stand by each other no matter how hard it gets. damien hats humans, due to what they did and how they treated both him and adi. his apathy and even hatred for them is likely due to the experimentation as well, most of the changes they both have can be chalked up to the inciting incident, but the after was solidified over time from the treatment of humans. he prefers mutants now, as he can both relate but also they are like adi, which automatically makes him like them more. since adi is more independent now damien has more time on his hands, and uses it to wander the village and make new connections. neither of them are worried about money due to all the cash they accrued from the hero days, adi working and damien managing him and being the one to talk to the hero administration. so that leaves damien kinda listing anywhere trying to find meaning, besides the meaning in adi. adi is trying to fit in and be loved for who he is rather than what he can offer. his labor was all that was worthwhile in his hero days and it simply exhausted him to never be listened or considered intelligent enough to understand certain things because of the damage that was done to him. now that he is away he wants to strike it out there and become friends with as many people as possible, being seen as a reliable and caring person, who you can talk to and enjoy time with.
