2024-05-19 00:31:19 +0000 UTCSome people say Trunks is not reliable, doesn't know what he's talking about and the twins were always toying with him and he wasn't conscious when 17 told Gohan he wasn't even using half of his power (in the manga). But others argue that Toriyama wouldn't have Trunks just throw a statement out like that all willy nilly. People seem to think the Trunks that faced Mecha Frieza was only a little bit stronger than manga Gohan. On the other hand, after Trunks killed Mecha Frieza, he told Goku that he "barely managed to escape" indicating he was much weaker, but in this episode, he originally said that "even I could fight them fairly well," indicating that he got stronger during the 3 year timeskip. Some people believe all he did was skip 3 years and didn't get any stronger, but other people will ask why is he lumped in with Vegeta and Goku in power when both Vegeta and Goku are clearly much more powerful than the Trunks and Goku from 3 years ago? Its all very interesting.

2024-05-19 00:06:35 +0000 UTCI'm sorry, but I have to point out a dub flaw in this episode. Krillin says Vegeta might need few senzu beans. The series have stated over and over again that one bean alone is more than enough to fully restore your health, including all the broken bones and limbs.
