Think about this for us potterheads though and actually waiting in real time for it. Was so magical having them all back together. ❤️ Also as someone who has read the books multiple times, just on your comment about “ are they lighter or darker” I think they would be similar darkness however because you get more scenes with characters and more depth I think you feel things more. Sirius for example is largely not present in movie 4 however in the books he is much more present so you get a whole other book learning about him and seeing the relationship between him and Harry really develop. So his death is even more tragic when reading about it. For me I find the books more quirky, more emotional and just a bit more insightful as it’s from Harry’s perspective so you really hear his inner monologues and struggles. So although I love the movies. The books are hands down a must read for all the extra insight you get.
