2025-05-04 06:41:52 +0000 UTCYou’re not alone. Chi Chi is probably one of the most hated DB characters, and she’s the type that gets less likable each second she’s on screen. She has some redeeming qualities but she’s probably my least favorite supporting character in the show

You haven't seen your infant son in 1 year because he got kidnapped by your Husband's estranged alien brother, only to be kidnapped by your Husband's arch rival, who abandons him in the wild for 6 months and beats him the fuck up for another 6 months. Then, the second your Husband comes back to life, your son is put on the front line in the fight against psychotic genocidal aliens that are hundreds of times stronger than the one that killed your Husband in the first place. Obviously, they NEEDED Gohan to fight, but a mother doesn't care about being rational; she cares about her son's safety above anything else, and no matter how you look at it, Goku DID indirectly put Gohan in mortal danger despite the necessity of it.
