People love to critique later arcs/series for “cheapening” hard work, but the powercreep’s been there since day one. It’s stupid to complain about later arcs when early on characters got their powers unlocked by a green man’s hand on their head. Also, remember Goku going from being no-diffed by King Piccolo to soloing him JUST by chugging water? That’s one of the worst examples. Even Gohan somehow being born stronger than Goku with 0 training is an example of convenient writing. I’m glad you’re a first timer, because you immediately saw this without nostalgia goggles. It drives me nuts when people ignore early problems and then get all opinionated about the same stuff down the line

And Super Sentai directly inspired the creation of the Power Rangers, hence the posing! I would love to see your reaction to the DBZ Kai version of their entrance, it's one of the few things that Kai did better than the OG
