Added 2022-09-19 03:58:33 +0000 UTCOne of my favorite parts about Total Warhammer is that due to the varying ways the AI behaves, even running the same starting faction/location can result in very different games. You may have a strong opponent in one game that gets wiped out quickly before you even meet them in the next one.
This means who is friends with who can also be different, because you may find you have different neighbors depending on how things play out. And deciding who to be friends with, who to trade with, who to ally with means a fair amount of paying attention to who their friends and enemies are. The game is called Total War, but often its wise to not be at war with everyone at once.
It's that sort of strategizing and weighing my options that keeps me firing the game up time and time again.
