Weekly Update - 2/17/19

The first half of 1964 lured me in with important first appearances, like the Mandarin, Captain America, and the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. But once I sat down to read these issues, I realized... despite their importance I wasn't enjoying reading them. They were often clumsy, weird, and slightly racist (just like my great uncle!).

So I approached 1964 Pt. 2 with a hesitant heart... I'd been hurt before. But Fantastic Four stunned me with the best Thing fight we've seen so far, Avengers wowed me with the addition of  time-travelling warlord Kang the Conqueror, and Spider-Man thrilled me with a non-stop action-packed showcase of his greatest villains, the Sinister Six! I learned to love again!
