Weekly Update - 3/3/19

Everything about 1965 screams "world-building" to me, in a way that feels novel compared with what came before. Spidey's (arguably) arch-nemesis finally gets some teeth in a two issue arc. Professor X's backstory is tied in with the coming of the Juggernaut. And we start to see that the Avengers is more than just a comic series sharing some heroes, they're an institution that will evolve over time, both the in-universe team and the publication itself. And last but not least, Dr. Strange gets the first long-form event in a 12 issue arc across Strange Tales, taking serial comics in a bold new direction! These are not your grandparents' comic book series anymore (well, except for you Gen. Z people, these might literally be your grandparent's comics).
