Let's talk about last Friday.

I posted my first ever "Overheard" audio, introducing the lovely Lethal_Lizzi. She and I had been talking about doing this for months. As comfortable as we are together, we hadn't yet performed with each other. I couldn't be 100% certain of how we would sound in the booth, how we would sound on the binaural mic, on the chair, her on top, from behind, etc etc. So many questions! So many variables. There was so much of that experience I could have fine-tuned beforehand, but... I really just wanted her to join me. ;) We'd figure out the rest later.

It was impulsivity that got us into that booth on Thursday night. It was comfort and safety and goofiness, and fire and vigor and passion. At some point I forgot the mic was on; completely focused on the beauty in front of me. What you heard the closest thing to the "real" us. Only the names were changed.

By the time we finished up we were both ready for bed. I quickly saved our recording and left everything at my workstation alone. I was up early the next morning to record Friday's AMA, and I found myself distracted by the unedited Overheard in my open files. It took no time at all to edit out some personal info and to give the audio a bit of polish. After that short thirty minutes, I was so eager to share this with all of you. I knew I had to make it available before the AMA went live, specifically because I wanted to discuss it.

Then, the feedback! The comments. The subscriptions... Y'all showed us so much love for this, and it was everything we didn't know we needed. I expected a bit of attention; I didn't expect a 25% increase in new memberships.

She and I are both looking forward to doing more Overheards for you. Please expect more goofiness, spontaneity, banter, and wholesome exchanges during foreplay and aftercare. Also, now I have the list of what can be fine-tuned, so the overall quality will improve. (The armchair is staying exactly where it is.)
