How to use my animated maps with Roll20

Hey you P&P Fans out there. For all of you that don't use FoundryVTT (how dare you! xD) but Roll20 here is a work arround to get animated maps or video files in general available for your players in R20.

How to use my animated maps with Roll20

Comments

Hey Jaime, stupidity very rarely has anything to do with Roll20, rather their completely awkward way of using and setting up assets. There is always a lot of manual work involved. I don't even know if the browser addin still exists or works. As mentioned in the video, I have no influence on its development. But I can give you some information that might help you. If a map is 3840x2160px (=old maps) the grid size is mostly 120px with 32x18 squares. With 16:9 squares the squares are 240px and with 48x27 a square is 80px. The newer maps always have a pixel size of 100px and the number of squares is the resolution divided by 100. 4500x6000 therefore has 45x60 squares with 100px per square. I hope this helps a little. Best, Ben
