Chapter 1 – Mysterious Skill

Alicia who got excited from me getting along with Regina devoured me for the whole day after that. Then the next day.

The demon girl Regina would be entrusted to the guild for a while,  where she would be lending her strength for the rebuilding of the  surrounding region.

「W-why my master!? How can you lend me to any other human than you……!」

Regina cried when she heard about the decision and clung on me.

But this was an official decision that was made after discussing it with the guild master Goudo-san.

There were several reasons for it.

First, when the Armor Ants simultaneously went wild, it took time for my [persuasion] to work on Regina. Because of that the settlements that were near to the nests got considerably damaged.

Those losses could be made up from selling the materials that were  harvested from the Armor Ants. Even so it didn’t change the fact that  there were considerable damages.

In addition Argo Village where the dungeon outbreak happened was  destroyed. The indirect cause of it was the propagation of the Armor  Ants.

It wouldn’t make sense to allow Regina to hang around as she pleased without first having her taking responsibility for those.

Fortunately as long as Regina had enough food she would be able to  immediately give birth to Armor Ants and command them. There were a lot  of things that she could do, like securing food for the restoration  workers, cutting and transporting lumber, guarding an area, etc. She  would surely be useful (though of course only some adventurers would be  told about the Armor Ants’ help so that Regina’s identity as a demon  wouldn’t be exposed).

The second reason was……well, to be frank I don’t want to keep Regina near Alicia too much.

Regina was constantly clinging on me.

What about it you asked? Seeing that would turn on Alicia greatly.

Currently Alicia who was turned on after seeing me getting along with  Regina yesterday was demanding to [get along] with me for the whole  day.

In addition, Regina who was locked inside the bed room made a ruckus  「Mugumugumogaa! (This is abandonment play! My master is making me  listening to him making love with other woman while tying me up……he’s  disgracing not only my body but also my heart……♥)」. Listening to it  turned on Alicia even more.

Letting them close to each other would only invite disaster.

And if I could say a bit more, Regina’s attitude toward me was a bit  too strange. This arrangement would allow me to keep moderate distance  from her so that she could hopefully cool down.

I wished that she would recall her queenly dignity when we first met, even if just a little…….

Her attitude toward everyone else than me was properly (?) haughty though.

「Uu~, I understand the reason but, even so for me to work for other  human than my master…………haa, haa, it made me shudders when I thought  that it’s my master’s order……as usual my master is the greatest master  who know best how to trample my dignity to the ground……♥」

Regina was voicing her dissatisfaction toward my order while breathing hard.

Really, just why she became a girl who loved being tormented by me like this…….

「Look Regina. I’ll tell you one more time just in case. Don’t talk  about your dignity or whatever getting disgraced and the like to other  people no matter what, okay?」

Currently the way the adventurers in the party Sunflower of Wide Sky were looking at me was just horrible.

Rainy-san too, she was looking at me as though she was thinking 「Perhaps I also still have a chance?」.

If this keep up, it wouldn’t be long for the situation to turn bad for me regardless whether my Incubus Gift got exposed or not.

I kept telling Regina until she understood.

「The guild also promised that they will give you enough food. That’s  why Regina, I want you to work hard so one day you will be able to stay  together with us without any problem.」

「Muu, if that’s what my master say……I’m also getting fed up with how little food there is in this so called [inn]……」

Like that Regina got taken away by the female party Sunflower of Wide  Sky where she would help with the rebuilding effort using a nearby  forest as the base.

Although with her being bonded to me through Master-Servant Contract,  we would have many chances to meet for me to check on her. There was no  doubt that my days from here on would still be filled with a lot of  troubles.

After such twists and turns, things finally calmed down and I finally could tackle the real issue at hand.

The [fight] against Regina made my status grew incomprehensibly.

……Yeah, just from the level, I was already equal to a middle-ranked Holy Knight.

I didn’t know if my strength was equal to middle-ranked Holy Knight  because there was clear difference between our Gifts, but there was no  denying that my growth speed was abnormal.

Most likely my conjecture from before, that the experience point I  obtained would be greater if I got along with [someone new], [someone  with powerful Gift], or [someone with high level] was right on the mark.

If not my level wouldn’t increase by this much just from [a fight] against Regina.

But well, ignoring the strange way the level went up like usual.

The problem was the skills that newly appeared.

What the hell with these…….

「……I think……<????> means……the skill still can’t be used because  there’s a condition that hasn’t been fulfilled……a non-activated skill  isn’t it?」

「Yes, I think that’s right.」

Alicia peered onto my status plate from the side while saying that. I nodded.

Such phenomenon was almost impossible to happen but, it seemed that  it was possible to happen in a very small chance when someone leveled up  too rapidly like me.

Apparently a skill would be displayed as <????> when the  existing skill’s proficiency was low compared to the level or when the  combat experience of the person was shallow, but when the manifestation  condition was fulfilled, the person would be able to suddenly use it one  day. I also heard that many times the skill awakened when the person  was cornered and they used all their strength beyond the limit.

In regard to the <????> skills, I don’t know when and how they  will become usable, and in the first place I didn’t even know their name  so it was pointless to think about them.

The problem was the only skill with its name apparent to see.

The skill was already giving off a strong dangerous stink just from its name.

All the skills before this were also clearly insane just from their  name, but the skill this time seemed to be crazy in a different vector.  Local Wife it said…….

Besides I couldn’t imagine at all what the skill could do from its name. It’s scary.

I didn’t know what I should imagine or think to activate the skill  from this, so I couldn’t activate it and consequently couldn’t test its  effect.

It would be dangerous if the skill went wild just like the time with Master-Servant Contract. I needed to test it out quickly…….

In that case there was only one way I could think of.

「Hmmm, it’ll be a bit expensive but, I guess I have no more choice than to obtain that.」

「……That?」

「Yeah. A magic tool with Merchant’s skill sealed in it. An appraisal crystal.」

I said. Then I went to the merchant guild together with Alicia.
