they suffer the main protagonist syndrome, ya know where if they go against any team that can go extra innings will always crush Sedio . Also Raichi puts fear in 99% of batters and a rival for Eijun,Sanada is the role model for Eijun. And Yakushi is the main writers favorite team.

2022-05-08 03:28:54 +0000 UTCExactly. That's partly why Ryo kept his mouth shut, Mochi kept his mouth shut and why even the Coach is so hesitant to replace him. Because there is no one better or equally as good. Harucchi is definitely the obvious choice but at this point, he hasn't caught up to his big brother yet and that is not even considering the fact that you can't match the chemistry of Mochi and Ryo by throwing in an inexperienced first year who isn't synched with Mochi as a partner yet.

Theres no real replacement and thats what sucks..... Its true that Ryosuke couldve caught if he wasnt injured, but he's already head and shoulders above the rest. So its not really a loss tbh
