TikTok Ban Takes Place
Added 2025-01-19 07:31:32 +0000 UTCThe popular video-sharing app, used by 170 million Americans, went dark late Saturday after TikTok’s Chinese-owned parent company announced that they will make their services “temporarily unavailable.”
Shortly before 11 p.m., US users were greeted with a message that said: “Sorry TikTok isn’t available right now” and the site was otherwise unusable.
