April Update

Howdy all! March is over, it's officially spring, and it's time for another monthly update!

March has been a fairly quiet month as the result of a swarm of commissions that I have had to plough through. But, I'm finally back on top of everything and have the next couple of days to focus on Patreon more! I've already finished the next map so that one will go online soon, and I hope to have at least two more maps for you this month!

So, here's the summary of March.

World Building

The first big thing in March was the announcement of a world building project in which you can make all sorts of suggestions for what we will add next. The Swamps of Rasfadal and The City of Hofendal have already been uncovered and the rest of the world will be uncovered as we explore new themes.

What we decide next will be decided through polls in which you can vote for a type of map (desert, countryside, swamps etc.). In the comments you can leave suggestions for any of the themes and if you suggestion fits on the world, I'll do my best to incorporate it!

March Poll

Speaking of which, right after I made the world building announcement, the first poll went live. It ran for 2 days and got 37 votes, which I think is amazing, considering how many Patrons I had at that time. The winner was Frozen, though it had only a single vote more than the runner up, Countryside.

The Fjords of Knørden

The first map of the Frozen theme was the Fjords of Knørden. This will be the setting for the next couple of maps. The fjords are a harsh land that have only recently been united under one banner. Now it's a place of political unrest, as the kingdom is still trying to find its place in the world.

However, the political situation is not the only thing to explore in Knørden. In the north you'll find burning ruins and we'll discover what those are in the coming month.
