The Hamlet of Dossorlan
Added 2019-10-24 12:35:37 +0000 UTCDossorlan is a small hamlet located in the Dossor Swamp. It is built on the site of a once great city. The ruins of this ancient city can still be seen around town.
It is rumored that long ago a great city stood where you'll find the Dossor Swamp today. Its people worshipped the Lord of Shadows, but when he was defeated and driven back to the Plane of Shadows the city fell into ruin. The only parts of the city that survived were the Church of Morlorrim and the nearby graveyard.
For centuries the swamp had been deserted and left to the forces of nature. Some decades ago a group of fishermen settled in the swamps. To their surprise they found a church and graveyard. While both had obviously been abandoned for many years, they were otherwise in decent shape. Almost as if someone still looked after it.
It is rumored that the hamlet is actually a cover for a cult of Morlorrim. A group of people praying for his return.
