Derbot Castle

fortification build on a tall island. The castle is surrounded by steep cliffs and near impenetrable.
Derbot Castle was build by Duke Reginald I when the Duchy of the Great Vale was at its height. For some time it was the home of the Dukes of the Great Vale, until Duke Reginald III decided to move his court to the more comfortable Derwon Keep. This was just before the fall of the Duchy of the Great Vale.
The castle has grown a lot over the years. Originally the castle consisted of the keep and headquarters. Later the High Garden and Temple of Okorus were added. Later the second, outer wall was added, then the northern section, and finally a moat was dug around the castle.
