Ruined Village (18x24) Pt. 2/2

North of the Village near Sahr Hill was a small rise, at the crest a shrine. The little building has since collapsed in on itself, but the ruins can still be found.
Long ago this shrine was dedicated to Milory and her children. For centuries the people lived here in peace and prospered. But when the Burbric Empire came the shrine was repurposed and dedicated to Kordus and the Gods of Order. Eventually the Burbric Empire collapsed and the people returned to their old way of life. But not completely. The shrine remained dedicated to Kordus and the forest was angered. It sent many trees to punish the villagers and eventually they were forced to leave their homes. Now Milory has once again taken residence in the shrine and the forest thrives.
