Hey everyone! Let me present to you the Forest Trail, the second map for the Woodland theme.

Many places in the Feylin Forest are difficult, if not impossible to find by mundane means. Magical landmarks are scattered around and always moving through the forest. The Stones of the Forest Mother often appear shortly after entering the forest. When left without interacting, travellers will shortly find their way back to the stones. Even if they have no desire to.

On a gentle hill in the middle of a clearing are the Stones of the Forest Mother, large stones standing in a great circle with an altar in the middle. It is used to perform ritual sacrifices to the Forest Mother, an ancient creature with unknowable intentions. When a sacrifice is made the Mother appears, a tall creature with a body made of wood and moss and a dark hole where her face should be. Inside the darkness are three glowing lights, staring deep into the soul. If the sacrifice is accepted the Mother bows and leaves, and the forest will be treat the travellers with kindness. If not, she turns her back and terrible fortunes will befall the victims for as long as they remain in the Feylin Forest.
