Dwarven Throne Room (27x36)

Carved out deep below the Undercity of Orungor is the throne room of the Dwarven King of Ballaer. The sides of the room are lit by torches standing across seemingly endless depths. Some say that these depths lead all the way down to the Underdark, or perhaps the Abyss or Hell itself. Yet, the dwarves of Ballaer knew no fear and carved out the room and its pillars, so far down that there works seems to go down endlessly for those who admire it from above.
It is said that the king was in the throne room when the dragons struck their great kingdom. From the skies over the mountain legions of dragons came down and set their great cities on fire. Deep below the mountain wyrms and drakes crawled up from the depths and into the city and the dwarven palace itself. The king was busy shouting commands when the first dragons entered made their way into the throne room. The king swung his great hammer and crushed the first of the monstrous lizards, but it didn't take long for the city to be overrun and surrender.
It is no surprise that the kingdom of Ballaer, after suffering such devastating initial defeats, was the first of the dwalen kingdoms to fall.
