I wanted to try the Rode Wireless GOii to see if it's worth buying for our videos and while it's a very good system a technical issue with it cut our filming time dramatically. It was also my first time using a wireless system so I didn't hide the transmitter well enough. A lot of footage had to be cut including two large chunks involving 36'' balloons from CuteBalloonsSTU. In both cases you can clearly see the transmitter which is very much immersion-ruining.
Since we were in a huge hurry we don't really have good backstage pics from this shoot but the cut footage for sure makes up for it. I don't really mind cutting the video down but having to severely simplify the script as well as barely directing the model definitely hurt. In the end, it was either no clip or a simpler clip. Check it out if you like.
