I was curious, so I looked back at the older Dark Science pages to see where the art really changed. There was some gradual evolution, and #48 was a pretty big change, which was no surprise. But I was surprised/impressed at how big a difference there was between #6 and #8. I'm not sure I even noticed it at the time, but Dark Science would have had a much different feel if it wasn't for that increased detail on facial features introduced after the first few pages.
