ephtracy

Thank you for the wonderful software, ephtracy. Unfortunately, I have trouble with both tutorials so far - I find them extremely difficult to follow. They reminded me of the times when one had to read how to model in 3DS Max in a big book; however, even back then, in those books, there were some screenshots of the revelant sections of the interface, and sometimes, there were even screenshots of "before" and "after" so that you have a basic idea of what you're trying to accomplish and what the words are referring to. TUTORIAL 1: I have the vague idea that the first tutorial is about the scaling menu on the right (I hope I'm not mistaken!) but the part where you swap scaling and size values failed to make any sense to me. In Unity you can paste size, location and rotation, maybe this feature is _something_ like this, but... I don't know. If I press Y I assign its value to X, but if I press X, its value doesn't get assigned to Y... I don't get it. TUTORIAL 2: I have the vague idea that the second tutorial is about placing multiple "strokes" on the surface of another bigger object, where they follow to the normals... and... you can modify and replace their shape... and... you can make them not follow the surface normal... and... I didn't understand anything else beyond what I already discovered through pure random clicking. I know that not everyone is capable of talking in a video but at least including screenshots or gifs to the text would be of great help to confused people like me if you find the time for it. I understand that you follow your own inspiration and you may not find this important, so in any case, thank you for sharing your work with the world.

Or I should say, not its initial transform, but a default transform. When I insert a new stroke, I may not want it at the same scale/rotation as the previous stroke. And I don't know an easy way to reset the selected stroke.

Thanks for the tips. How can I reset a stroke to its initial transform? Say I add a cube, resize and rotate it, and then want to insert a second, default cube. It's kind of a pain to figure out how to reset the transform of the second cube. I think to reset the size I actually have to type in numbers into the Size boxes.
