You are able to apply array/radial duplication to the following primitives in extrude/revolve/torus modes:
Cube
Sphere
Cylinder
Polygon
2D Triangle/Quad
You can find the settings at the bottom of the stroke panel.
You may need to increase the volume resolution to improve the quality when you increase the array count.
Half/Bevel/Hole/Curved Boundary can also be applied to each primitive in the array,
Array duplication works for asymmetrical shapes (triangle, pentagon, etc.) but requires more computation than symmetric shapes.
Radial array duplication only works for symmetric shapes (isosceles triangle, rhombus).
