I've honestly had this whole scene with Mother rough-drafted since the start, just works out well that I finally get to the part with the ghost-like character right during October.

In case anyone was wondering, one of the reasons I went with the name mother is that is kind of her function in the sorority, kind of like a House Mother, providing mentoring and support to the members.
But Mother 's Name Sake is also partially inspired by MU-TH-UR 6000 from the Alien movie franchise. She's not an AI, I just pictured Megan and some of the other Sorority girls going to her for advice and her being all cryptic, much to their annoyance.
Also, like MU-TH-UR, Mother has her own agenda.

I wanted to point out that since the Patreon update, the Collection is much easier to organize, and all my posts are showing up when I search for them from that menu. Finally, just a heads up that I went back and redid the lettering on pages 96 and 98 so Mother's font matches the one I originally used on page 95. I've updated both the MEGA files and the ones here on Patreon.

EUG pointed out that I was missing a word that Grammarly failed to inform me about. Loaded my script back up, and it then pointed it out to me... plus several more that it did not bother to flag when I did my final edits. (For instance "overdone" is one word.)
I was also double-guessing my choice of the word engineer(verb) as something that a ghost living in a book for the past 300 or so years would use, so I edited the line a bit.
When I first wrote it, in my head, I was hearing her put emphasis on the word "engineer", like it was a term she knew Megan's husband would use, but not something she would normally say. I did try putting it in quotation and italics, but I thought they looked weird with the font.
