[LIFT UPDATE] Chapter 1, Page 5

This page was a lot of fun to work on and something I've been looking forward to making. Fun is a weird word to use there, because the word fun implies more lightheartedness than the content allows. When I say fun I mean this is probably the most creative flexibility I've had making comics in a long time ♥ It's a joy to make, and I really look forward to more interesting panels and pages with LIFT in the future!

(which means I suppose that I am living in future tense............)

She was standing on a "stage" that gave way under her. There are screws falling out from the bracket that was only loosely holding the boards together; she fell through the floor. By creative flexibility, I meant more-so that since the page layout is taller and thinner now, I'm able to do more with the full length of the page than I was able to do previously. Since the full length of the page is significantly longer than TOY's old pages, she can fall from a greater distance through panels. Being able to think outside the box, so to speak, is inspiring when I work on my thumbnail layouts. The flexibility is in the way I now approach things. It's not necessarily that I /couldn't/ do things like this before, so much as a fresh beginning is inspiring in new ways for me. A new plotline is definitely refreshing and inspiring too, of course.

She was /in/ the box? Could be worse -- the blanks could have been live ammo. Actually, could you say more about the creative flexibility? Could you not have put this page in ToY?
