The demo is just a short level comprised of all currently available features, including all enemies.
I don't know if it can run natively on MacOS, but if you can run Microsoft.EXE, then you should be fine. Download & Unzip, as you will need the entire folder to play.

These turrets take 3 whips, but 5 knives and 1 water. Definitely discourages you from playing it safe. The infinite bats on the high platforms really test you if you slow down or stop to fight them.
