Was super stoked to take a crack at a "Sunday" comic...I was hoping to get it put up on an actual Sunday, but I guess Monday is close enough!

When I did this one, I actually intentionally followed the standard panel splits to see if I could adhere to newsprint standards! Glad someone else caught that detail, haha

2023-10-17 03:55:42 +0000 UTCman vibe wise this feels like a mish mash of a pre-sabbatical Calvin & Hobbes sunday strip (back when Bill was still being constrained by the sunday strip standards and hadn't reached enough clout to be able to do his own thing yet) and Kevin & Kell I can just picture the panels being shifted to a 4-row format like in the Calvin & Hobbes books, with the 1st row having just the big panel, 2nd row having the former 1st row's 2nd panel and left half of the former 2nd row, the 3rd row having the 2nd half of the former 2nd row and 1st panel of the former 3rd row, and the 4th row being the rest of the former 3rd row
